Eyeglass Accessories: Think Outside the Box

While eyeglass accessories aren’t as outrageous as the usual fashion accessories such as shoes, jewelry, and handbags, eyeglass accessories are just as popular. Some of the most popular eyeglass accessories are eyeglass chains, eyeglass necklaces, and eyeglass cases, but there are some not as popular eyeglass accessories that are just as cool.

Since everyone wants to be cool and stand out why not consider buying and wearing something that’s a little outside the box? You Have to look like everyone else to be popular despite what the popular girl in school says (or the good-looking coworker or the overpaid model says).

Everywhere you look celebrities are wearing giant sunglasses (usually aviator sunglasses) and Designer Eyeglass frames, but bigger doesn’t always mean better. Sometimes little details the more especially if they’re designed well.

Sunglass Holders

Sunglass holders are much understated and usually overlooked. They are little loopy things at the end of eyeglass chains that attach to the earpieces on the sunglasses. They can also be clips or other attachments to clothing that are meant to hold your sunglasses when you’re not wearing them-this comes in handy when you’re outside and move into in inside space and no longer need your sunglasses. Where do you put them? Do you just set him down anywhere? What happens if you forget them and leave them behind? With sunglass holders you can be confident that your sunglasses are always where you need them.

Eyeglass Stands

Eyeglass stands aren’t necessarily eyeglass accessories, but they are very useful when you need someplace to put your eyeglasses. A recent invention (at least not many people knew about them until recently), eyeglass stands are usually little statuettes with large noses and big years where you set your glasses as if you’re setting them on your own face. His little statuettes can come in many colors, characters, and sizes. Imagine setting your glasses on an eyeglass stand in the shape of beloved Snoopy.

Eyeglass Pins

Eyeglass pins are exactly what they sound like, pins that can directly to your blouse, much like a decorative brooch. Unlike brooches, eyeglass pens are more than just something pretty, they’re actually meant to hold your eyeglasses when you were clearing them. Eyeglass pins, can be just as decorative as brooches, but the one difference is that eyeglass pins have small loops where the earpiece (known as the temple piece), slip in and are held fast.

Many fashion forward ladies appreciate the elegance and simplicity of the eyeglass pin, because they can wear it is jewelry while still having a secure place to put their eyeglasses when they aren’t needed.

Eyeglass accessories really are more than just chains, cases, and frames. As we look outside the box, it’s obvious that eyeglass accessories like sunglass holders, eyeglass stands, and eyeglass pins can be just as fun, fashionable, and functional. So, the next time you see a big named celebrity walking down the street wearing giant sunglasses, you may wonder to yourself, “Have they ever heard of eyeglass stands, and have they ever worn an eyeglass pin?” Chances are that they haven’t.
