Green Clear
A clear green liquid is placed between a ray box and a prism. What do I observe on the screen?
The ray box projects white light, and the screen is behind the prism, while the ray box and the liquid are in front of it.
If you compare it with the spectrum visible prior to putting the liquid in place, the spectrum will still have all the green colour in the same place it was before.
But the other portions of the spectrum will become duller or disappear.
So the total width of the visible spectrum will be narrower than before.
You will have difficulty seeing any red or any blue in the resultant spectrum.
